Standard Timeline
Most UAE tourist entry permits are processed and issued within 3 to 5 business days from the time of submission.
Factors Influencing Turnaround Time
- Weekend Processing: The official UAE government working week runs Monday through Friday at 12:00 PM. Applications submitted on Friday afternoons or over the weekend will typically be processed on Monday.
- Peak Holiday Seasons: Turnaround times can slightly extend during major travel periods such as Eid holidays, UAE National Day (December), New Year, and major Dubai shopping festivals.
- Security Background Checks: Certain nationalities or names requiring manual verification by the security department may experience an additional 2-3 days of processing.
Recommended Window to Apply
We recommend applying between 7 and 14 days before your intended flight date. This provides ample buffer time while keeping well within the 60-day entry validity window of your approved visa.
